FAQ

How do I organise a building inspection?

It is important to know as much about a property’s condition before you make a purchase, to avoid expensive problems down the track. To organise a building inspection ensure you use a fully qualified person, such as a Registered Building Practitioner.

With Bayside House Inspections organising a building inspection is as easy as contacting John on 0418 256 311 to book an inspection. John will then arrange access to the property with the real estate agent. Once it is scheduled he will contact you advising you of the time and the date. You can also expect a phone call when the inspection is finished to discuss the results.

When do I receive the report?

We offer same-day service. The detailed report is emailed to you as soon as the inspection is completed, which can take anywhere between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 hours. On the day, you will also have the opportunity to discuss any of the findings with John.

Do I need to attend the building inspection?

If you would like to be present at the inspection John can accommodate this request. However, it is not necessary for you to attend. The report will outline in detail the findings of the inspection along with any pictures taken on the day.
